I’ve heard all about Putri Island’s beauty and I’ve been always wanting to see it with my own eyes. After did a little searching, I’ve found an agent called Indonesian Walker, it’s focused on conducting tour mostly for Chinese tourists. Aside from their friendly service they also offer very affordable price, exactly what I need! The date have been set and I am super excited.

Finally the day has come! Indo Walker’s staff are doing re-registration and told us to be ready in pier number 9 before 8am. My friends and I then came to Marina Ancol Harbor at 7am. The boat depart at 8 am sharp. The trip took around 90 minutes.

DAY 1

We arrived in Putri Island around 9.30 am. We are welcomed by Indo Walker’s representative, Mr. Sobri. He is the one that will assist us during this tour. Then we went to the cottage’s lobby and they served us with a welcome drink, feel very refreshing after a quite long journey.

We are lucky they have empty room at the moment we arrived, we then immediately checked in to drop our belongings in the cottages that they’ve prepared for us. Our cottage is facing the sea with only 6 meters away from the beach. The cottage is clean and equipped with television, air conditioner and water heater just like other usual hotel.

Today we have some free time after lunch, me and my friends are going to another island and snorkeling in the sea in the before cruising to watch the sunset. We then change our clothes to swimsuit. The snorkeling gears have been prepared by the tour.

We stopped by in the middle of the sea to see the under water’s beauty. The water is very clear, I can see everything from the water’s surface. Here if you want to dive professionally, you have to have the diving license first. Since we didn’t have it, we can only snorkeling. But it is fun enough!

By the way, Indo Walker also offer tour with documentation package, including photos and edited trip videos. We choose this package, so we don’t even have to bother to bring our own camera with us. All our pictures, including the underwater one, were beautifully taken by Mr. Sobri.

We then continue our journey to Dolphin Island. I can’t help myself to keep amazed by the beauty of the sea. Nearby the Dolphin Island pier, there’s some fisherman just got back from the sea. They brought the caught fishes in a floating cage called Keramba. We also can stand on it while selecting fishes for us to buy.

We then got back to Putri Island to watch the sunset on the cruise. It is a very beautiful sight to see.

DAY 2

Our last day. We decided stay on the land to explore Putri Island. Putri Island have a unique facilities where any other island in Kepulauan Seribu don’t have, an underwater aquarium! This natural aquarium located 3 meters underwater and you can enter for free.

Here we also can try a glass-bottomed boat where we can enjoy the underwater view while the boat is moving. It’s like going diving without getting wet.

This is view of the beaches on Putri Island. The sea water is very clear and calm. I can spot some corals and a few baby stingray playing nearby.

Finally we are on the end of our journey. It was a very nice trip, thanks for the help from Indo Walker’s staff. Me and my friends definitely will come back another day to explore another island.
